Church Re-Opening with In-Person Services 6/28

We are excited to announce that we will be returning to in-person services on June 28! We have services slated for 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. (with livestreaming at those times as well). It has been a long time coming and we have missed everyone greatly.

We have been praying and preparing the church for your arrival per the state and county guidelines. So what is this going to look like as we move into a limited in-person worship service?
Well I can tell you that it's going to require patience, flexibility and understanding on all of our parts.

We are allowed to have 100 people register for each service.  Please register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/church-services-at-laurel-ridge-tickets-109867797540. Please arrive early so we can get you seated!

Please watch this video from Pastor Dan highlighting the procedures and what to expect when you arrive for in-person church services at Laurel Ridge.  Also, be sure to read the guidelines below.

Some basic guidelines for in-person services:

1.  Please check your temperature before coming to church and make sure that each person's temperature is under 100.4 and that all are symptom free. Please do not attend if someone in your home has been ill.

2.  Everyone will need to wear a mask. We will follow CDC guidelines for wearing a mask. If you forget yours, we will have a disposable one for you.

3.  There will be several areas with hand sanitizing stations. We highly encourage you to use them coming in and out of auditorium/church.

4.  Common areas and gathering places like classrooms and most of the lobby will be closed. The water fountain is required to be turned off. You may bring your own water from home.

5.  Bathrooms will be open. We will be alternating bathroom stalls in the main men's and women's restrooms. So during one service, one set of stalls and sinks will be used, then they will be switched for the next service.

6.  For 3rd or 4th services, we are anticipating alternating to use bathrooms in the gym. Someone from our First Impression Team will direct you to the appropriate facility.

7.  We will not be distributing any paper Programs or Connect Cards. If you would like to print out your outline to bring with you, please bring it with your own pen. We will email the outline to you on Saturday for you to print, as we have been doing. You may also follow along on the Laurel Ridge Church app on your own device.

8.  There will be no offering envelopes in the back of the chairs. We thank you if you have been giving online. There will be a box at the back of the auditorium if you would like to drop your offering there.

9.  Our greeters will also be wearing a mask. We will not be able to high-five, shake hands or give hugs at this time. If you would like to give virtual high-fives or virtual hugs, those will be accepted.

I want to thank you for your patience, encouragement and faithfulness over the last several weeks. I’m proud of you for fighting-off selfishness, frustration and fear.
This has been quite a learning experience for all of us.

My prayer is that we take the great lessons that we’ve learned and apply them into our lives and into the church’s life.

In Christ,
Pastor Dan Buchert
