Why Are We Here?
What if the restlessness, frustration, and lack of motivation we feel in life are not random struggles but symptoms of something deeper: living without a clear sense of purpose? This message digs into one of the most searched questions on the internet and in the human heart: why am I here? Drawing on passages like Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares that his plans for us are filled with hope and a future, and Ephesians 2:10, which reminds us that we are God's workmanship created to do good works he prepared in advance, we are invited to see that purpose is not something we invent but something we discover in relationship with God. The message uses the vivid and relatable image of using the wrong tool for the job, a butter knife as a screwdriver, a wrench as a hammer, to illustrate how many of us are living lives that kind of work but miss the mark entirely. When we are not living according to our God-given design, frustration and aimlessness follow naturally. But when we align with his purpose, something shifts. We stop saying good Lord it is morning and start saying good morning Lord.
