Everybody is looking for affirmation. People will do almost anything to get it.
If you don't believe that, just watch some of the reality shows on TV or scroll through your favorite social media platforms.
Look at the lengths people will go through to get on TV or to get "likes" on social media - eat worms, perform crazy dares, or whatever.
Just so people will applaud you or notice you.
But how can we affirm the unique gifts and talents in others in a way that glorifies God, builds up the Church, and spreads the love of Jesus?
